(CNN)Drug kingpin Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman has hired a defense lawyer who successfully represented the son of convicted mobster John Gotti. The reputed head of the Sinaloa Cartel has retained attorney Jeffrey Lichtman, the lawyer confirmed. Lichtman represented John Gotti Jr.
